Thanks for stopping by! I love kokeshi and love to collect them. I have recently realized that I may need to downsize a bit, so I have decided to list some for sale. I hope that you find something that you like!
I try to ship same day (excluding Sat. & Sun.) My goal is to protect all items to the best of my abilities; this can include using tissue paper, moisture barrier, bubble wrap and packing paper. I also document each order as I pack it so there is no question as to the measures taken to protect your order.
Most previously owned items are going to have some form of wear or damage. In the case of kokeshi, many are 50+ years old so the dye/paint can fade & the wood can crack, darken, develop age spots, floating wax & peeling; often with prolonged ownership & display they can fall; acquiring dents and scratches. I’ve found that with rare & unique items, this wear or damage may be worth it as you may not see them again.

So cute!
My kids 1.5 & 2.5 love to pretend to “fill up” their cozy coupes. Two wishes is that it had an actual credit card w/swiper that made noise and that the unit was weighted to keep it somewhat in place so that they could activate the buttons without it falling or scooting away from them.
