Thin but information and helpful book.
The Black and Decker name has been around for a long time. They have made good products and you have expected good quality from their products. This book is no exception. While it won't turn you into an electrical engineer or an electrician, it gives you good information and in good detail, with lots of pictures; this is especially helpful since most people are visual learners. It will even recommend that you consult an electrician on some repairs that are not typical. I'm pleased with this purchase. Even though it has just 128 pages, it addresses various electrical components found around every house, such as wall switches, receptacles, and light fixtures, and goes into wiring basics. It's going to help me install recessed light fixtures in several rooms. I'm keeping it in my library and won't be loaning it out.

Like spying on your coworkers.
I heard Glynis give an interview on the radio about numerology, which interested me. She talked about understanding others and yourself through numbers. I decided to try it by reading numbers about myself, some family members, and some co-workers; it’s almost like spying on those people! I gained a lot of insight into those relationships, allowing me to deal better with those others in a more efficacious way. And it’s fun, too. Recommended.

"One stop shopping" with psychic ability development/enhancement.
I really like this book. I heard the author on a popular national late night talk show and I liked what she had to say. The book covers a myriad of topics. I'm a slow reader and I'm taking my time reading through it, to digest it better. It covers grounding, breathing, centering, ethics of readings, and energy work, and I'm only on chapter 2. She talks about the importance of "shutting down" so you are not overwhelmed with the energy around you, such as what happens when you are in a crowded area, or with someone who just drains your energy. To me, so far, it seems like "one stop shopping" in terms of psychic development. I'll finish this book, and I'll look forward to reading her other two books.
