Trees

good addition to the collection

Had to laugh at the prefab questions. Is the content compelling? If one is a nerd, then yes. And I am. Have been foraging for mushrooms in the extensive woods behind my home, and this has led me to look at trees more closely, less poetically, more technically. This book will I think be helpful with some tree distinctions, especially in winter. I do wish it was more specific to where I live (Northeast corner of what I have a hard time thinking of these days as the united states), but it has enough to have already sorted some birch-beech issues and confimed that the ash was an ash. The photos are good, descriptions are precise. It's still not the perfect tree ID book, but getting there.
