1983 Suzuki Katana GS1100SD / gsx1100s
If people need to read a review about this motorcycle to be interested in buying it , they should look elsewhere . If you are looking at it , you know what it is ,the bullet proof mother of all modern sport bikes . It does nothing exceptionally well , but the combination of what it does & a rider who knows & respects it accordingly....heaven on two wheels & not another bike like it . Mechanically (basic gs-11)....everything is available for it ,factory & after market ,especially in drag race arenas . Modern drag race Suzuki machines still use this engine as a base & not the engines that match the Modern Bling body work . Styling - wise , not much available any more as far as add-ons go . If restoration is your interest , start with a good base donor , original parts are very expensive ,some obsolete & close to impossible to find used at reasonable prices . The after market for bodywork & styling is very thin in the US . It is a pity that E-bay Japan is not more more popular with the Japanese because anything & everything is available , Specifically for this bike . If you have the cash & contacts you can build a bike that will make modern sport bike seem lacking ,boring & ordinary . If you are mechanically inclined however ,you can transplant almost any modern Suzuki/other suspension ,forks ,swingarm with wheels accepting modern rubber & tire sizes . This turns the motorcycle into a canyon carver & with more than enough punch built into these engines , you'll have the younger guys with far more expensive machines wondering what they don't know .

Even works with XXL hands
I have an XXL hand size, so compact carry's are a difficult size for grip comfort. This extended length grip plate allows me to achieve a full two finger purchase on the TCP grip, while my pinkie folds under, snug against the underside contour of the plate. Very comfortable and a clever design. It allows for a secure grip on an otherwise very small frame and the unexpected bonus, at the range, it improved my shooting accuracy substantially. It makes the TCP more manageable on recoil with a lot less snap. The absolute best upgrade for this platform, at any price, Period .
