Two good pieces which deserve to be heard more often.

Two very enjoyable and substantial classical pieces which deserve to be heard more often, performed by a well-regarded classical piano duo. It is a pity that this CD is no longer available other than as a download, so it was good to buy a second-hand copy.

Excellent value replacement for my trusty old scientific calculator.

Excellent value, absolutely like new, and a good replacement for my trusty old scientific calculator (which unfortunately got chewed to destruction by the dog!). This is a good substitute and is just what I needed.

Entertaining, enjoyable and good value but sound quality occasionally inadequate

Enjoyable, quirky and subtle comedy mystery set against a background of 1980s Yorkshire. Lots of interesting and eccentric but well-acted and (mostly) believable characters within slightly surreal and somewhat unlikely storylines with excellent music backdrop. Only drawback (noted in other online reviews also) is that sound quality on this DVD issue occasionally makes quiet speech hard to understand (doesn't affect the main dialogue, only the more subtle throwaway comments between the two main characters). The enjoyable theme tune and incidental music come across fine, I'm pleased to say. Summary: content good and quirky, reproduction satisfactory but not ideal.
