Childhood favorite
I recently purchased this set of books as a Christmas present for a friend is enjoying Netflix's "Anne with an E." Emily of New Moon is another of L.M. Montgomery's engaging, courageous, and determined young heroines. I read these as a young girl and I am in the process of re-reading my own set. An enduring story with an enduring charm and character.
