My name is Carmen Florence Romero I'm am a artist from Taos New Mexico. I've been painting for 15 years I stop for five and now I am continuing again with my art I am 41 years old I am proud to say that I had a very famous grandma that I'm named after her name is Carmen Romero velarde she is known all over the world her artwork. my artwork is different from my grandma I am trying to keep up the tradition of painting retablo. what I learned from my grandma that a woman can do anything she puts her mind too she's living proof her Legacy will live on and I hope I make her and my family and especially my dad proud of me Viva La Vida
