OEM is my preferred choice when it comes to replacement parts. The design, however, on this part is slightly different from the original mold; in that, the lock tabs do not fit easily into the receptacle slot (No fault by the seller for this aspect of the sale). The part eventually locked into place, but with difficulty. I saw a physical difference in the tab sizes. My old filter (OEM) connects & disconnects freely. Not sure why the design is different.
