Among the best series I’ve ever read, not a single misplaced word.
If you love an epic romance, beautiful, rich language, period detail, and want to enjoy it in up to 10 wonderful books, then immerse yourself in the Highlands, in France, in America, and the rich history of the mid-1700s and mid-1900s. And then watch the TV series, and be thrilled all over again.

An English house party, a mad comedian....
And a great and funny mystery writer produce one of my life-long favorites. A group devoted to King Richard gathers to read a newly found letter that exonerates their hero, and would right an ancient wrong, but a series of gruesome jokes plunges the group into panic. Great fun from a popular author.
