Better for long hair...

Very well made The bristles are very long. Much better for animals with long hair. I bought it for my cats that have short hair doesn't work as well as I expected.

IPOD 5th Gen Video is the best of the line_UPGRADE!!!

The 5th Generation IPOD is the best of all. Main reason is that you are able to send video and audio out of the port connector. You can use any 3rd party cable to plug it into any TV with RCA connection. This feature was discontinued after mainly because Apple discovered to many 3 party company were putting out viewers and cables. You can upgrade this version of IPOD to hold a 240gb hard drive!!! Go to http://www.apricorn.com/ and search IPOD! For $199 you get the 240gb hard drive, Hi cap battery, opening tools and instruction CD. The upgrade brings your IPOD to around a usable 224gb with 30% more battery life! This can be done also to the 30, 60 or 80gb 5th gen IPOD only, (sorry CLASSIC IPOD owners). There is two upgrade options either a 120gb or 240gb. hardrive. The 120gb is nice if you want to upgrade your 30gb for $139. Note, the 30gb IPOD can be upgrade to 240gb. To do this you have to change the back plate to 60gb or 80gb backplate which will support the thicker 240Gb drive. These back plates can be found on EBAY for under $10. Better then the overpriced OWC model if your a Mac User

Perfectly capable for handling a small amount of inputs. I'm a Pro tools mixer and Premiere editor. I recently upgraded from a 2010 desktop mac pro to a 2013 desktop trash can Mac Pro. One of the main things I needed was Firewire 800 input. A Firewire 800 to thunderbolt 2 adapter worked fine then a friend gave me the Belkin thunderbolt 2dock. With Firewire 800 plus a couple of USB's connected it works perfectly. If your in the market and your a MAC user I would recommend this over the OWC unit.
