Crappy directions

I have never seen a pattern that doesn't have the pieces at the very least numbered, and it would have been easy to print the name of the vegetable or fruit on many of the larger pieces. The pattern pieces are represented by squares or rectangles in the directions making it impossible to compare the actual piece to the instructions to figure out what you're dealing with. I had to mark each piece to keep some kind of order. The directions are not for the beginner, if I did not have years of experience behind me I would have wadded the whole thing up and thrown it away. I was frustrated and cannot imagine how a novice would begin to deal with this. You disappointed me this time, Simplicity!
