Covers most of the information required for the exam.
For someone whose goal is to get a Private Pilot's License, 'FAA Knowledge test guide' is a very useful tool. I have not gone through the book fully to make a comment. But my Flying School recommended it.

Certainly this book deserves to be in the library of an aviation student.
In a summary fashion and with attractive and information giving graphics the Handbook conveys a variety of relevant pieces of information that assist a beginner student to acquire knowledge to become a good pilot.
