In 2007 I retired from the Royal Navy after 34 years' service and became a CEO.
During my time in the Service, I was an active mountaineer and expedition leader with extensive high-altitude experience across the Himalayas, Alps, Andes, and East Africa. Led successful ascents on Kangchenjunga, Mt Kenya, Kilimanjaro, and technical routes in the UK, throughout the Alps and Andes. Known for strategic planning, team safety, and deep terrain knowledge.
Then moved on to helping CEOs make molehills out of their mountains.
Now I'm a creative professional with expertise in storytelling, visual presentation, and audience-focused communication. I specialize in listing rare books, vintage maps, military memorabilia, and technical gear—each item described with precision, transparency, and buyer insight.
