Not Universal
These did not fit my spindles. The inner rubber washer has a circular hole rather than an oblong. The rubber is so hard it can’t be forced and is too difficult to adapt. There are caps that have multiple metal washers designed to fit a range of spindles. They are of course more expensive but do the job!

Rubber casing could be better
I was a little dubious about the weatherproofing of this product having read other reviews. On receipt a flap on the rubber casing was slightly raised. Having applied some weight to the flap for a number of days it went almost flat but have just noticed it is raised again (see picture). It has recently stood up to heavy rain but wonder about snow and ice in the winter, hence 3* rating. The lock itself seems robust, has a lovely smooth action and is of better quality than similar cheaper locks.
