Extremely interesting read!
As I gazed down into the beautiful canyon, a thought crossed my mind. "I wonder how many people have accidently fallen into the canyon from up here?" Later that night I starting looking for answers on the internet and found out this book existed. While the subject matter is a bit morbid, I love the way the authors describe the canyon and explain where and why the events happened. Some of the stories are extremely bizarre but told very well. Its a long read but well worth it. I find it concerning that so many people have no thought of what they may be doing to others by jumping or driving vehicles off into the canyon. What if someone was down below? During our recent visit we watched as kids threw rocks down into the canyon. We told them to stop and got death stares from their parents. Unfortunately, my overall view of humankind dwindles every day it seems but the beauty of nature keeps me grounded. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
