An outstanding talent in John Grisham
Believable characters. Knowledge of the locale. Knowledge of the culture and attitude of the people living there in Ford County and how that knowledge affects their behaviors. Great phrasing and word selection. Sets a tone for the reader to enjoy. I have read ALL of Mr. Grisham's books and "Ford County" is my favorite. When it first came out, I read it and lent it to a friend who never returned it. I can see why. I am reading it again and enjoying it as if I'm reading it for the first time. I'm a writer myself and I am attempting to write a collection of stories, using Grisham as a model. His latest is out on April 28, and I will be line at Barnes and Noble wearing my mask to purchase a copy despite the "stay home" mandate here in Los Angeles County and of California. Then I'll go home to stay and read. Thanks for the opportunity to express my joy over Mr. Grisham's god given talent. I'm excited to read his latest. Beverly H. Reynolds
