Revell-Monogram P-47N
I searched for this kit for several months. I am in the process of modeling representative equipment and markings of all the US Fighter units that fought in the Pacific and CBI Theaters. It will enable me to model each of the four Groups that flew the P-47N in 1945 as they prepared for Operation Olymipic, the planned invasion of Kyushu that was scheduled for 1 NOV 1945.

B-26 Marauder Decal Sheet in 1/48 Scale.
I am using these to build the B-25 flown by Captain Robert Sieber, an old friend and colleague. His airplane gained its 15 minutes of fame when a Life magazine photographer snapped a picture of Bob's airplane from another plane in the formation while on a mission over France prior to D-Day. Bob and his crew weren't aware that they had been photographed until Bob's mother wrote him from LaCrosse, WI to tell him that his airplane was in Life.

Italeri 1/48 Scale P-47
This kit is one of the better P-47 kits available. Detail is very good. The major item absent is positionable flaps. This detail can be easily added. The decal sheet is excellent. I will be building this kit as part of a project to model all the ETO and MTO fighter units.
