Great book

Fine historical account of our women pilots
A very good historical accounting of the women pilots in the war - the Women Air Service Pilots - who did the work of the men while they were fighting overseas. The layout of the book is excellent and the photographs are outstanding. Eileen Collins, the first woman to pilot a space shuttle mission, gives the forward. The National Geographic Society publication allows the outstanding photography tell the story of the women pilots in a way which makes it an excellent reference tool for the historian as well as for students of history.

Excellent account on one of our treasured WW2 veterans
This is an excellent account of Chester Nez. Judith Avila is an excellent writer and I would certainly recommend this book if you want to know more about our WW 2 veterans known as The Codetalkers.
