Works fine as coprocessor mning gridcoins for many BOINC projects.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have 6 of these in an open air rig mining gridcoins while helping map stars in the Milkyway Galaxy. Part of the mikyway@home volunteer community. The double precision performance is 3 times better than the latest NVidia Turing coprocessors. The fan to use is NMB BG0903-B047-VTL and aluminum tape holds it in place just fine. If you don't like the look of aluminum tape then any after market or "parts only" HD7950 cooler works fine. Do not expect this to fit nicely and run cool in a case. If you use an after market liquid cooler such as NZXT you will need a copper shim. Been there once, done that, then switched to that NMB BG0903-B047-VTL.. Fans make a lot of noise. My 6 GPUs draw 1100 watts exactly from wall on 220v line in my garage. If the fan quits turning the s9000 shuts down automatically.

can be used with passive terminators or hdmi monitors.
I used 2 of these with a pair of systems that were on an HDMI switched video amplifier. When the systems were not selected (usually watching cable tv) it was not possible to access the systems remotely as they did not detect a monitor and the desktop server (vnc, splashtop, windows) did not allow a connection unless there is a monitor. I was unable to find a Display Port terminator so I used these adapters and plugged in an HDMI terminator and set the two systems to mirror their display on both the HDMI terminator and also on the LG TV on the few times I need to switch in onto the LG TV. This allowed me to access the remote systems w/o getting up, pushing a button on the amp, and switching them to the LG TV.
I used a 3rd adapter to connect a 2nd HDMI monitor to the display port of a gtx1070 and that worked fine.

Disappoinnted, but I got what I paid for as it was cheap and did play.
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich Very poor quality compared to stargate SG1, atlantis or startrek TNG. Year one inserts were not glued to the binder and several nibs were missing. From the scuff marks on the center of the dvd it would appear some of the DVDs were attached manually. Year 2 and 3 were ok but year 4 case was designed to stack even DVD's on top of the odd ones resulting in all of the top DVDs falling out when I opened the case up. All other years had only 1 dvd per page. Although stated as copy protected, none were encrypted and all copied just fine.
