Works well for degassing carboys
Better than expected! Works perfect for degassing wine in 5 or 6.5 gallon carboys. I attached a hose to the pump, the other end of the hose into a bung to go into the carboy. A few pumps pulls a perfect vacuum to start the degassing. It holds it's vacuum quite nice too.
I am very happy with this item for my wine making.

Arrived fast, powerful fresh batteries.
These batteries work great. Lots of power. Put them in my garage opener and this is the first battery that will open the garage door from 50 yards away. They arrived quickly and there were no issues.

Had to modify a bit.
Good clamp, the flat bar could be a little thicker, it bends too easy when tightening the nuts. I had to buy flat stock, cut and drill holes to make it more sturdy. Other than that, they work well for light duty projects if using the original flat bat it comes with.
