Thanks. My Grandfather was Damage Control on the Arneb for Deep Freeze I. He had many slides and photos of the mission but they were stolen after he passed. This collection somewhat replaces those lost items.

Plastic pawl on metal arms....guess what wins.

Plastic pawl went bad on original. Used maybe a dozen times. Metal engagement arms cut into the pawl preventing recoil.... Figure same will happen to this after a short while. Unfortunately, no other alternatives though, I bought another with a different plastic pawl design. I bet I'll have to keep a couple of spares anyway. Love the way manufacturers make a decent product and ensure more profit via their built in obsolescence of components.
