Satellite to the Moon
Satellite is the key to recording freely! I use a Twin Duo and what a great preamp with a $200 DI value and Unison. With a quad, UAD plugins shine and recording/mixing is like an old analog studio with no tech glitches. UAD is not cheap or easy but beautifully wondrous if you’re brave enough to walk the path to TONE.

Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special Bridge Humbacker
The SNS pickup has the right amount of gain, volume and tone for my 70's LP versus the T-Top. Bass is tight with good midrange and not too bright and glassy. Also rolls off nicely and works well with a T-Top in the neck when in middle position.
