An Excellent Value for a Floater
There are times when SA, Rio, or Aircel introduces new technology that could easily justify buying the most current line, especially when you amortize the expense over five years or so, the approximate life of an average line.
This isn't one of them. The new updated version is simply a rebadging of this line. It's lightly textured, but not enough to be concerned with finger slicing or even excess noise when casting. Casts very well, one of the best floaters I've even owned. Best for smaller to medium sized flies--for really bulky flies a heavier head would aid accuracy. I cast #8 streamers with accuracy at any reasonable distance needed with this one.
