I use these for cleaning electronics
I build my own electronics, as a hobby. I use a lot of flux, when I solder. These swabs do a good job of cleaning up the flux, with a little solvent. They hold together, when pushing them around with a brush, or toothpick, and they don't leave any lint. They do leave a bit of fibers, but that is easily removed with the brush. Compared to "official" electronic cleaning pads, these are an amazing value.

The Good and Bad

Bad = Wires are not soldered to clips. The strands are just folded back over the insulation and crimped.
Bottom Line = Better quality than I expected. I can solder the wires, if ever needed.

As Good As DIY
I was thinking of making my own pad. Saw this. Ordered it. Arrived in reasonable time. Quality is the same as DIY. Two self-stick sheets of fabric, with nicrome wire in between. I could not feel any resistors, or thermal fuse. Mine draws 1.58 amps and produces a nice heat. I could not have made it better, myself, nor for less money. I am happy enough.
