Love this collection!
Beautiful small prints in blue, faded red which is like a coral pink and red with some lovely background prints. Can't wait to use it in my quilt!

5 von 5 finden das hilfreich I had actually seen this book in a local book store. I prefer quilt books that are full of color and this book has that. I loved all the vintage quilts and great color pictures. When I saw it on ebay (at a much better price) I decided to buy it and I have not been disappointed. There is a large section on quilts and culture with information and old photos, including many close-up samples of old fabrics and a time line of when the quilts in the book were made. There is a section on Susan McCord, a farmwife who made extraordinary quilts for her time. The applique section is wonderful - my favorite is the Floral Urn Harrison Rose Quilt - I love the colors and the design. All in all Quilts from the Henry Ford is a very high quality, very colorful and informative book. If you are a vintage or antique lover, this is a great resource.
