Compact, convenient, functional
This is my second pair of these. For general xc skiing and even backcountry tele skiing in powder in warm conditions, these are excellent. They do their job, simple to put on, quick, made well, durable, and they don't malfunction. I switched to them because I find them more convenient to pack and take along because of their smaller size compared to regular sized gaiters.

Lightweight and fast cutting
I use this saw to clear trails. And though you can break them, the light weight and size makes it easy to store in a back pocket and easy to access.Plus it cuts fast - really fast. Magically fast. I've broken 2 blades in 4 years of heavy use. But then again, I always abuse the saw by trying to cut trees thicker than 4" - sometimes up to 9"+. I have recommended this saw to friends and bought several as presents! I guess I'm sold.
