A knock-out comedy that will tickle your funny bones
This hilariously funny comedy will have you laughing out loud. A superb cast of actors from top to bottom engage the viewers and keeps the laughs coming fast and furious. Monty Woolley gives a priceless performance as Sheridan Whiteside, while both Bette Davis and Ann Sheridan (differently cast than usual) add much fun to the proceedings.

Excellent film made memorable by Frances Farmer's poignant performance.
Masterful adaptation of Edna Ferber's sprawling novel regarding a wealthy lumber tycoon and lost love. Edward Arnold gives an excellent performance and Walter Brennan won the Best Supporting Oscar for his portrayal, but it is Frances Farmer who steals the film with her dual role, first as the saloon singer Arnold loves but gives up and her daughter who Arnold covets in an effort to recapture his youth. A mesmerizing film from start to finish.

A warm family film that has aged well over the years
A touching tale of a boy's love for his horse and his own quest to find his purpose in life. Roddy McDowall, Preston Foster and Rita Johnson offer warm, sympathetic performances that are perfectly in alignment with the film's heartfelt story. It is also a stunning feature in glorious Technicolor.
