better than the new design for feeder foot.
I bought this feeder foot because it is new but discontinued in style. The new feeder foot design has less metal parts i.e. more plastic. The new feeder also provides no tension on the foot whereas this one that i bought has tension, thereby providing pressure on the fabric and "feeding" it . It is less wide than the newer style but I feel that it works better.
