Monday to Friday cookbook
This is a great book. It's really practical for weekday cooking. It offers recipes with ingredients that I normally wouldn't have used; it gives shopping lists so you'll be prepared to throw things together that end up great. It also has practical suggestions, ex: when Mom and kids eat early and need to keep Dad's dinner until he arrives much later, and how to keep it still tasting fresh. It has recipes, then variations that will appeal to picky kids etc.
It's a fun recipe book.

A book all children should read at Christmas.
Sweet book that I remember from childhood. It's been kicked around a bit, but to me is a lovely story that children should read. It's about kindness and good things.
