A realistic adaptation
It is one of the “original “ Austen adaptations .
It is not too pretty and the characters are well played by the actors .
I thoroughly enjoyed it .

An unputdownable book .
Two reasons : you learn a great deal about the plays , even more about Judi Dench .
It charms all the way through , providing you with her insights into each part she has played as well as her wicked sense of fun and humour . It shouldn’t disappoint .
