An Introduction to Who was Chagall
While the production showed paintings either not previously seen or only at a distance or in small reproductions, there was a distinct short-fall in the presentation: the views were often lacking the item being spoken of, there was no cohesion between the different views. Filming was rather careless. While the narration was interesting, it was somewhat glib, once or twice inaccurate.
Overall, as an introduction to the otherwise little known information and art works, it was acceptable. Thank you. With no other such dvd available, this was appreciated.
