Excellent machine with some design reservations
This is a wonderful machine to work on. The screen is superb. It is very fast. There are lots of ports. The storage is generous. Aesthetically it is pleasing.
There are two downsides.
1. The fan is noisier than it needs to be and it runs all the time
2. The power switch is not only on the back of the base, nearly out of reach, but small, flush and hard to find by feel. That placement is lousy design.
My supplier is to be commended. The device came on a pallet and with original boxing. A lot of care was taken to ensure that what I had paid for was not damaged.

A far better option than an overpriced Apple or Google Phone
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich If you are hooked on iOS or Android then you may well not consider a Windows 10 Mobile. Perhaps you should. The interface is far better than either. The core applications such as Mail, Calendar, Word are vastly superior. The phone has a great screen and is not hobbled to fleece the end user. So the back comes off and you can replace the battery and add an SD card to increase storage. Having two SIMs is superb for travelling. QI wireless charging is a boon.
Of course, with a tiny market share, there is not the same choice of apps. Yet it is surprising how many there are. From the major banks on. When there is not an app the interface allows you to pin the web site for the provider to the Start Screen so the downside is much less than might be anticipated.
At the price give it a whirl.

New version pairs well
This is version 5 of the TP WiFi extender. The design has been around for a long time. It is much neater than the pass through ones. Which are large and clumsy.
Whether it is the later version, or I was just lucky, this new one paired with one of my older ones first time. It also carried over the SSID and password for the system first time. Furthermore, the instruction sheet is now much clearer.
The downside of this being effectively an old piece of kit is that it is 2.4GHz only. Dual band would obviously be preferable. However, it definitely does the job and powerline networking is cheaper, and arguably more effective, than mesh systems. There is also the Ethernet socket.
