It's good!
My favorite in the series, Assassin's Creed III breathes new life into the series invigorating it in a way it so desperately needed. Gone are the drab brown and yellow communities we've come to expect from the series replaced by beautiful graphics depicting the American colonies.
Gameplay is fantastic, a sharpened more refined experience in comparison to it's predecessors. Sure, some of the same old nuances you've come to expect are present but overall it's a better game than the series has previously offered. If you want the full story start from the beginning with the original Assassin's Creed and work your way up. If it's fantastic, fun gameplay you seek, then Assassin's Creed III is a great place to jump in to an awesome series.
