i was running a core2duo at 2.6 ghz ,but it had difficulty multitasking things like burning a DVD at same time as surfing the web it just couldn't do it ,so i upgraded to a cor2quad to see if it made a difference,which it didnt,but that isnt the processor at fault i found out it was the dvd software that was utilising 70% of the processor to do its task,that aside this processor is very rapiid doing most computer tasks,surfing the web,playing games,microsoft office,printing off at the same time,does all those tasks vey quickly and without lagging and with a 5.9 rating i have a very fast very efficent computer,as long as i,m not burning dvds.
