Atlas 713 HO Scale Kim's Classic 1920s American Home Kit

Catalog House
Dead-on accurate model of 1920 Bennett Lumber Co. Small Homes Catalog house. Pretty easy to assemble, but built with enough separate details that painting the parts before assembly is easy.

Good for Small Layouts
These cars are great if you want to run passenger trains on layouts with 18 inch radius curves. Otherwise not accurate to the prototype.

Good Model of a Small Redi-mix Truck
This is a model of a small (3 cubic yard capacity) Redi-mix truck from the 1950's. The chassis is a model of a 1955 Ford Big Job F-700 truck. I added an approximately 7/8" long piece of 1/4" diameter white plastic rod at the back/top of the cab to represent the water tank that these truck had and the model is missing. My dad and I used to get concrete in trucks like these in the 1950's or 1960's when we either didn't need a full 7 cubic yard truck-full or if there were accessibility issues with the job site (lots of trees or muddy ground). For example, pouring the floor of a 1 car garage or the front sidewalk of a new house.
