Just as expected
I wish they were a little more stout. However, lighter-weight plastic keeps the weight down.

They are lights
Installed them in the body of my Traxxas Slash. Easy enough to wire up. They do not work as headlights, not bright enough and the beam is too narrow. However, it is far easier to identify direction, speed, and distance of my RC after dusk. The brake lights are the coolest part about the leds. Asked for a switch, did not get one.
If you are installing them in the body of your RC, there is no real structure to allow you to aim the beam. You may want to consider a light bar or bumper mount, instead.
