So far so good
The original board on my Genie Silent max 1000 (5+ years old) went out with a power outage and I replaced it with this mother (and a surge protector for insurance), This board replaced the original Rev 1 board and the only thing different is the optocoupler connector. The board came with the updated connector and it was plug and play from there. This was a cost effective repair for me and saved me from having to reinstall a whole new garage door opener

Ok with antenna modification
My D-Link DIR-825 was a good router but it had a hard time keeping connections with two of the farthest WIFI camera in my small house. I had installed an ASUS range extender, but that solution was also unrealiable. I bought this WNDR3800 based on other's review and recommendations. I was thoroughly disappointed that it did not perform any better than the D-link DIR-825. It kept dropping the same two cameras. I was desperately in search for a solution and i had to make a decision, reinstall my old router and return this useless this useless junk, and figure out another solution to my problem, or take this router apart and do an antenna mod. I have the required parts on hand and I decided to do an external antenna mod. I am now picking up the two cameras pretyy consistently (still not 100%) but it is better than at any other time since I installed the surveillance system. Tha rayspan path antenna that came with the WNDR3800 router appears to be a weak part of this otherwise stable router.

So Far so Good
This replaced a deteriorating Netgear CM1100 ( download speed drops from over 400mbps to less than 30mbps minutes after a reset). This CM1200 has been holding the over 400 mbps speed for over a week now, the question really is how long will this modem last, the old CM1100 modem lasted for well over 5 years.
