The perfect gift!
This USS Pine Island Seaplane Tender model kit was a perfect gift for a friend of mine who builds models. It is an exact replica of the ship my father was on in the Navy. Revel is the only company that made a model kit of this ship. It’s a 1993 edition, which came sealed, as though new. It is a “limited edition” in which this 1993 edition packaging was just like the original 1950s packaging. A very detailed kit including the main ship, with multiple guns, two cranes to lift the sea planes in and out of the water, a seaplane, jeeps, dinghies, and launches. it also came with a pamphlet of the history of the ship. My friend absolutely loved this gift!
