If you enjoy Japanese tuning they are a must
The IER-M9 was definitely tuned for the Japanese domestic market good solid bass slightly recessed mids strong top end. Vocals are strong but slightly recessed. Top end bright but not harsh.

Saw a review on these and placed a order from Japan!
The MDR-CD900st headphones came straight from japan. These are old school connected wire with a 1/4” plug. Now a good cable and serious plug. I did replace the stock ear pads with YAXI pads.
