Junk Quality. Do NOT buy!

Worst quality of the cheap Chinese replacement parts I've seen up to date. You are better off repairing the original 72 pin connector because this one has warped plastics and pins that will damage the PCB. You roll the dice with these, some times you get acceptable quality ones, but most of the time they are junk.

Probably the best VCR I've ever owned.

I liked this VCR so much that when I bought it in the early 2000s I bought a second one for the bedroom. I've always had positive experiences with JVC consumer electronics. The picture is as good as you are going to get with 480i through a Composite connection.

Cant print solid black lines w/o white gaps.

Terrible quality print. I replaced an HP cartridge with this and the difference is night and day. Black bars on a bar code aren't fully black bars like in the HP cartridge; there are small white squares within the black bars that the HP cartridge never had. I didn't change any settings. All I did was replace the cartridge. Man, I should have just sprung for the HP cart and not go cheap. I hope my bar codes scan. Big time buyer's remorse. Also don't touch it. Cover it with clear tape. Trust me.
