The get/Buy what was avertised, False avertisement.
I thought i Purchased a Seagate Barracuda 3 TB HD, which I was expecting. When I recieved the drive it was label Mediamax, Which I have never heard of. After google the Label, it came back as a white label drive that not associated with a manafactor name. I expect to get a seagate, because this manafactor that was avertised on Ebay site. I dont't know if this is a reliable HD I can depend on for durability., MaMaxtor an Western digital I had had more failsures. The WD i experience a clicking, and or a spin down failsure. Seagate are the on drive I have not replaced. Still have 4,10,20. 40 qnd 100 GB that are still running. I am unhappy because I did not get what I order which was A Seagate. Beware of Drive selling real cheap.You may get something that is not a good name product. My fear noe is how loing will this drive last. I tride to clock it speed, but I have no software that will read the drive firm ware for testing. I taken precaution to back up anything I write too it.
