Doesn't seem to work
I couldn't get this to work; searching on the web seemed to be met with a lot of skepticism about whether this should even work from a technology perspective. It's not clear whether there is any electronics inside the adapter itself, but I tried two DV cameras on three different PCs with no success.

Waterproof and colour rich
A good quality printable, has look and feel of paper, but is vinyl, and seems to survive water splashes and wipes. Colours stay vivid after drying.

Perfect for the job
Same product used in tutorial videos for device repairs, dries well and excess can be removed easily by hand. Decent sized tube, so plenty of uses from it.
