Realistic
Product looks great. Improves look of track by 110%. Easy to apply with hot glue gun. A little tricky keeping ties aligned as shown in picture but practice makes perfect. Good stuff.

Performs as advertized
The 036 Remote Hand Switch is buy and large a good product. There were a few glitches in switching from Track Power (i.e. main transformer) to auxiliary power (i.e. accessory transformer). The instructions in the manual were somewhat confusing but the ones contained in a Lionel how to video were the ones I followed. Even said, I had to attach a ground wire that was omitted in the video.
Once resolved, everything works well The track switches on command, the lights on the switch go from red to green and vice versa. The toggle remote also lights up green or red, depending on the position.
All in all, a good product.
