Logitech VX Nano Laser Laptop Mouse
This is one of the latest models in the Logitech VX Nano mouse range.
What a excellent peripheral for a laptop. With the inbuilt laser this will work on just about any surface (as an example I was working on my bed this morning and it worked fine over the bed sheets).
As for additional features out of the box (with out the need for software) left and right mouse keys, forward and back navigation buttons for web browsers and the center navigation wheel which can be in one of two modes (standard click wheel and hyper scroll which allows the navigation wheel to free wheel without resistance) as well as a left and right scroll function (pushing left and right on the navigation wheel) as well.
The main plus points for me was the ability to use this mouse both left and right handed which having looked at similar high spec models is not always possible. The second is the Nano WIFI USB adapter which can be stored inside the mouse and is about 75mm wide which means no more damaged adapters when you put your laptop away in a hurry.
Overall I think you will struggle to find a better mouse for day to day use other than paying more for the serious game playing models.
