Correct dimensions but poor fit
Part of the internal (female) threading isn't well-machined on one of the standoffs I received, so it won't fully accept a corresponding M3 male threaded shaft. I haven't tested all the standoffs I received, I just happened to pick that one to play around with.
The appearance is mottled, as if stained or mildly corroded by a splashed liquid, and on some of the pieces the main body looks scuffed or stamped.
The main body length is 12mm, as advertised.

A good fit for budget scales with 0.1 g resolution
This is some sort of cast and plated metal product, with no signs of trimming, so I don't think it's super accurate. You're not going to get NIST traceability, but consider how cheap these are. These are more than accurate enough for my scales, and good for other budget scales with resolutions no finer than 0.1 or maybe 0.01 g.
These allowed me to confirm the accuracy of one of my 1 kg scales (within one 0.1 g count, for each piece individually and all pieces combined), and to find a +0.7 % error in another 5 kg scale. Another scale with 0.001 g resolution revealed errors in the ballpark of -25 mg, but that other scale has firmware which tries cheat its user into thinking it's more accurate than it is, snapping to whole numbers, so it made it very difficult to tell the actual values of these weights down to mg precision. (To be clear, my 0.001 g scale was cheating, not these masses of metal.)

Matches measurements; what you see is what you get
The listed dimensions (5 mm body length and 8 mm length including male threading) are spot on. The thickest part (the main body) is 3.05mm in diameter.
The quality looks and feels nice. They mate together nicely.
