A must have book to understand the dynamics of monetary economics
Money, Banking and Financial Markets by Cecchetti and Schoeltz is an easy college level book that can be understood by high school students as well. He described the functions of money which puts it into context in the real world. Three functions of money are laid out simply. How banks and consumers interact with one another in markets is remarkably lucid. He disects and simplifies the dynamics of financial markets; basic principles of value are explained which accomplish this.
