Universal blush...

... but not the most pigmented eyeshadow. A fun idea by KVD and a great suit for my skin tone (medium olive/Asian-Latin-Caucasian). Shows up more red than brown (I've heard it leans brown on some).

Great value, great product

This flash case is the exactly the same as the 100-dollar version by a certain French makeup company. EXACTLY The ingredients, the quality, the colors, the order of the colors, the packaging - same. The logo, different. The price, an eighth. These paints are excellent. The pigmentation is incredible and they go on smoothly. They are easy to mix together for custom colors and with this selection you can create any color for any occasion (not UV though). Mind you, these paints can stain your skin - that's just what grease paints do. If you want to use them around the eyes, I recommend you prime the area with an eyeshadow primer first. They also take a while to dry - which is the same as the 100-dollar version - so I also recommend you set them with either an eyeshadow of similar color or a translucent/colorless setting powder. Remove the paints with oil, such as olive or coconut. I've found that food grade oil work better than cosmetics grade ones.

Gorgeous shades in a handy compact

Kat von D is a staple of quality and creativity made available for the masses. While these shades are suggested to bring out blue eyes, they weren't available in my country (Denmark, Scandinavia - known for blue eyes) and my eyes are brown, these shades were just what my KvD-collection needed and once I hit the pan I will repurchase. The casing is a coffin shaped, solid plastic thing with the KvD logo embossed on the lid, which has a tiny mirror inside it. The compact seems very sturdy and while I might not flaunt the miniature coffin in public (I'm a 30 year old lawyer), the design is VERY Kat von D - and the color selection is VERY me. My freakishly large, near-sighted eyes would ask for a bigger mirror, but of course there are limits given the size of the compact.
