Turn Up The Eagles The Neighbours Are Listening
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I went to buy a new subwoofer for my THX Reference cinema system and the seller used this disc in his home cinema room (put mine to shame)for a demo of the woofer.
As it has a DTS soundtrack that will blow you away, it makes a system shine and has an atmosphere all of it's own. Nicely includes a couple of solo offerings IMHO the best being New York Minute.
Famously the title is derived from a comment made in an interview with Don Henley when asked about the Eagles reforming.
Ironically both Steely Dan and The Eagles who referenced each other "steely knives" both split in 1980 and are both back and easy to enjoy again with new material.
There is a warmth evident here and although not too dynamic visually it is a treat for the ears and is an entertaining set and well woth having on the shelf if you can get iy for a couple of quid. Recommended.
