Another great work by de Bernieres
Corelli's Mandolin was just outstanding, and Birds withjout wings continues in this tradition. The look at life and thinking in the Ottoman Empire pre WWI, realy sets the stage and helps our understanding of the chaos in that region today. The imagery, phraseology, and storytelling are exceptional. This is yet another "can't put it down" novel to be savored again and again.

great little replacement
simple but fit easily into box and retrofitted well powered right up and worked quietly and well. less than 1/2 the price of Named brand PS but works very nicely
