Simple conversion of Canon 10-18mm without a hacksaw
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have a Sony a6500 and won’t pay the crazy prices for a Sony 10-18mm f4. Saw some videos on how to “hack” a Canon 10-18mm for use on an EF-only Sigma MC-11 but didn’t like the idea of taking a hacksaw to the lens backplate. So, 90 seconds of Google, I’d found this adapter. It shipped all the way from China and it arrived today. After 40mins of switching the plates, I was left with a smart looking metal backplate and Sigma MC-11 compatibility. In short, the lens works on most AF settings an I’m a happy camper. Product is great, well made, well packaged. Entirely metal and no electronics as the lens interface strip stays in place on an “island” that the backplates surround. All good, thanks!

Remarkable camera
This camera was responsible for me switching a 30 year allegiance to Canon over to Sony. I was astonished at the image quality relative to my then go-to DSLR, a Canon 7d.
This camera has everything, great auto-focus, super dynamic range and a solid eco-system of Sony, third party and, via adapters, vintage lenses too. I was completely sold on mirrorless as the way forward. The a6000’s small form factor combined with low cost prime lenses make for the ultimate travel camera. Highly recommended!
